PURPOSE:To improve each performance of braking, cornering and handling, and improve the mud plowing performance by arranging knobs, of which tip in the rotating direction of a tire is formed narrow and a rear end is formed wide, at predetermined positions. CONSTITUTION:A center knob 13, side knobs 14, 15, 16 and middle knobs 17 are arranged on the tread surface of a tire respectively. At the time of linear travelling, the center knob 13 and the middle knobs 17 contact to the road surface to bite the road surface from the narrow tip to the wide rear end gradually, and while push the road surface of an off-road to plow mud, and the tire travels. At the time of braking, the sediment on the road surface is dammed by the wide shape of the rear end of the knobs, and the tire stops. At the time of cornering, the middle knobs 17, the side knobs 14, 15, 16 contact to the road surface to bite the road surface from the narrow tip to the wide rear end thereof, and the tire travels. At this stage, the force for extruding the knob to the tire center line direction is applied to each knob by the rotation of the tire to improve the performance of tire directing and handling. |
