PURPOSE:To detect a fire generated during a grinding work and automatically extinguish the fire. CONSTITUTION:In a belt sander machine in which a sanding mechanism S to grind a metallic work W carried by means of a material carrying mechanism T is received in a housing 11, temperature sensors 31a, 31b are provided, and when the fire in the housing 11 is detected by them, fire extinguishing agent is discharged from a fire fighting nozzle 32 so as to extinguish the fire. |
