PURPOSE: To prevent unexpected damages of score lines and leakage caused thereby as well as easily to open the aperture with less power by installing an offset nose-clevis to direct the can opening power only to a related side of the cut piece at the pulling tab. CONSTITUTION: A can 22 where a pulling tab 30 is movably fixed to the end plate 26 by a rivet 32 is formed of reinforced ribs 34, 34 extending upward at an end plate 26, a dented part 36 for pulling extended downward, a reinforced triangular shape part 38 extending upward, a pivot rib 39 extending upward and a pair of a partially cut in score lines 40, 41 processed by score processing. The tab 30 has a nose part 52 and a pulling part 54 with a dented clevis 70 is provided at the downward of the nose part 52, and the clevis 70 is installed at an offset position of tab 30 in the longitudinal direction. Thus, the initial cut opening is formed along the score line 40 at the supporting point 72 of the clevis 70 when the tab is pulled up. |
