PURPOSE:To decrease the number of parts to be used in a retractor shaft rotating type pretensioner and power loss at the time of its operation. CONSTITUTION:A pulley 1 is engaged with the winding shaft R1 of a seat belt retractor R by the operation of a power source 2 to rotate the winding shaft R1 and give tension by winding tightening to the belt B of a seat belt device. The body of a pretensioner is provided with a guide means 4 which constitutes a reaction supporting point U for supporting the rotational moment around an engagement point working upon the pulley 1 on the opposite side of the working point T of operation force F to the pulley 1 with an engagement point S put between them at the time of the engagement of the pulley 1 with the winding shaft, R1 by the operation force of the power source 2. |
