PURPOSE: To provide a hoist device which hoists a person up to a certain height and can move in the horizontal direction while keeping the height constant as it is. CONSTITUTION: This hoist device has a beam 10 like a bracket which is provided and stretched in the longitudinal and horizontal directions and a hoist band 18 which is stretched over in the beam 10 in a meandering manner. A part of the hoist band 18 sticks out downward from the beam 10 like a loop 27, and the length of the loop 27 is changed by changing the length of the hoist band 18 in the beam 10 by a suitable drive device 12 to move a person hoisted by a tip of the loop 27 vertically. The loop 27 is supported on the beam 10 by a trolley which can move freely in the longitudinal direction of the beam 10. |
