PURPOSE:To obtain an elastic woven fabric having excellent-stretchability, resilience, drapeability and chemical resistance and capable of keeping the chemical resistance even after dry-cleaning. CONSTITUTION:A fabric is woven by using (A) an elastic yarn composed a block polyester containing a soft segment consisting of a polyester having a melting point of <=50 deg.C and produced by using phthalic acids as main acid component and aliphatic diol having 5-12 carbon atoms between the hydroxyl groups as main diol component and a hard segment consisting of a polybutylene- based polyester and (B) a polyethylene terephthalate-based polyester fiber and the woven fabric is subjected to dyeing and finishing treatment. In the above treatment, the preset fabric is subjected to heat-setting treatment at a constant load elongation of >=20% at least in the direction of warp or weft and then alkali treatment to keep >=80% of the above elongation. |
