WATER-CROSSLINKABLE POLYOLEFIN PIPE OF EXCELLENT WEATHER RESISTANCE

PURPOSE:To obtain the title pipe excellent in weather resistance and usable in the fields of water supply and drainage by molding a resin composition prepared by mixing a water-crosslinkable polyolefin with a specified ethylenic copolymer in a specified mixing ratio. CONSTITUTION:The title pipe is produced by molding a resin composition prepared by adding 0.05-5wt.% (in terms of vinyl compound units) ethylenic copolymer having a melt flow rate of 0.1-200g/10min and comprising ethylene and a vinyl compound containing a hindered amine group (e.g. 4-acryloyloxy-2,2,6,6- tetramethylpiperidine) to a water-crosslinkable polyolefin (e.g. a silane-modified PE obtained by reacting PE with a vinyltrimethoxysilane).
