PURPOSE:To provide the method for bonding automotive rubber weather strip to a mandrel without developing poor bonding between the mandrel and rubber. CONSTITUTION:Coiled mandrel S, to which polypropylene or polyethylene film F is bonded through adhesive C, is formed during unwinding so as to have desired cross-sectional form. Next, onto the film F of the formed mandrel S, unvulcanized rubber R is extruded from a rubber extruder so as to superpose unvulcanized rubber layer R on the film F. After that, the resultant mandrel S is passed through a vulcanizer so as to cross-link and bond the rubber R to the mandrel S. |
