PURPOSE:To enhance the heat resistance of a seal structure preventing the penetration of water into an oxygen sensor from the lead wire lead-out part of the sensor. CONSTITUTION:A graphite material 21 is held between a pair of lead wire lead-out members 8, 22 composed of a heat-resistant resin and the outer case 6 surrounding the peripheral edge of the graphite material 21 is caulked. The graphite material 21 is collapsed by caulking to improve the sealing of lead wires 9 and high heat resistance is obtained by using the graphite material 21 as a seal material in place of rubber. |
