PROCESS OF FIBER SIZING AGENT

This is a new composite sizing agent for textile such as cotton or cotton blended yarn. The size comprises a starch modified by phosphoric acid; a starch mixture of dextrine, starch of viscous corn and corn, -starch of corn, and acid treated starch; a polyvinyl alcohol copolymer mixture; and wax. The above PVA copolymer is a mixture of high molecular weight polymer and low polymer and mixing ratio is 0.5-4:1. The manufacturing method comprises: (A) mixing modified starch, 25-65 wt.% starch mixture, and 25-65 wt.% PVA copolymer mixture; (B) adding the melted 5-15 wt.% wax and 5-10 wt.% antistatic emulsion at 40-70 deg.C; and (C) adding cured powder.
