PURPOSE:To transfer an optimum number of printed circuit boards at all times by applying the constitution where an upstream side device is caused to generate a signal for stopping the transfer of the boards, when an acceptable maximum number of boards saved in a memory device is detected as delivered to a conveyor. CONSTITUTION:In starting a work, a teaching key is first pressed for displaying maximum number setting data for a feed conveyor on a CRT screen, thereby setting a maximum number of printed circuit boards to be transferred, for example, the number of 1.
