发明名称 THREE-DIMENSIONAL OBJECT DEPTH DETECTOR
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable the detection of an object contained near an arbitrary depth distance by using a lens optical system with a less depth of focus and a lens stop. CONSTITUTION:Light from an object 201 passes through a lens optical system 202 with a less depth of focus and a lens optical system 203 with a larger depth of focus to be introduced to signal processing sections 204 and 205 having respective image sensors. An image signal to be outputted from the optical system 202 is inputted into a highly scattering area extraction part 208 to detect a highly scattering area alone of the image signal. On the other hand, the image signal to be outputted from a camera 207 is led to an area selection processing section 209 so that an area is selected matching with focus by a signal from the extraction part 208. Thus, it is learned at what part of the image the object is distributed near a certain focal length and so, it is possible to detect information on an object a certain depth from an output image signal of the camera 207 by changing the optical system 202 with a focal length sweeping section 210.
