PURPOSE:To simplify the construction of the dental crown and to simply, easily and precisely work the dental crown. CONSTITUTION:The dental crown is constituted of a cylindrical member 1 formed by precise finish molding and a ceiling surface member 2 consisting of an easily moldable plate welded at its outer peripheral edge to the outer peripheral part at the front end of the cylindrical member 1. The working method thereof consists of a step of precisely finish molding the cylindrical member 1 of the dental crown by either or both of machining and electric discharge machining (including wire cutting) so as to match the member with the flank part of a model shape, a step of molding the ceiling surface member 2 of the dental crown by bringing the easily moldable plate into pressurized contact with the ceiling surface part of the model shape and a step of welding the outer peripheral edge of the ceiling surface member 2 to the outer peripheral part at the front end of the cylindrical member 1. |
