The treatment couch can be tilted or swung mechanically or manually in different directions enabling a patient to lie horizontally, in a sloping position or to swing in any direction. The couch is mounted with its axle in a stand (4) and moves by means of a holder (6). An adapter (12) is placed on the couch or on one of its parts. The patient is supported on a foot-rest plate (13). an adjustable weight (5) is on the couch.
