PURPOSE:To enable the monitoring of the shape of bead in the internal surface easily by scanning across the width of a cut surface and near it even when an external shaped is irregular by putting a probe at the center of the cut width of an external bead to adjust and set it on a vertical line for the cut surface. CONSTITUTION:An oscillation mechanism is made up of a combination of a mounting frame 6, a servo motor 7 for oscillation and an oscillation base 9 and a motor 7 performs an oscillating operation through an oscillation controller 14 based on the judgment of a controller 11. A scanning mechanism is made up of a combination of a scanning base 10, a servo motor 5 for scanning and a screw shaft 4 and a motor 5 performs a scanning operation through a scan controller based on the judgment of the controller 11. A probe 3 is mounted on a holder screwed down in such a manner to be movable in the axial direction of a screw shaft 4. Thus, the probe is directed vertically from above to an external cut surface P1 of a bead part 2 on a pipe 1 to be measured thereby enabling to obtain proper results when the external shape is irregular. |
