PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deflecting yoke capable of correcting convergence and reducing power consumption. SOLUTION: The deflecting yoke 10 is coiled in section and has a flat bending portion 14 arranged at the side of an electron gun of a cathode-ray tube, with a cable extended in the direction Z of the tube axis. In this flat bending portion 14, the cable in an arbitrary section S5 in a coil portion, where the cable are coiled sequentially in sections S1-S5 to the direction Z of the tube axis is coiled, while being sequentially shifted in the direction Z of the tube axis.
