PURPOSE:To prevent the preceding down motion of a trim cylinder in the tilt- trim mechanism of an outboard motor and enable the reaction of a trim cylinder rod by the driving of a pump. CONSTITUTION:In the down operation in the locked state of the rod 11c of a tilt cylinder 11, oil cannot be supplied to the upper chamber 11b of the tilt cylinder 11. Oil discharged from the port 13b of a pump 13 is thereby returned into a tank 17 through a down blow valve 16. On the other hand, since the rod 11c does not go down because of being locked, operating oil in the lower chamber 11a of the tilt cylinder 11 cannot be sucked, so that negative pressure is generated in an oil passage 18. Operating oil in the lower chamber 12a of a trim cylinder 12 is forcibly sucked, and in association with this, a rod 12c goes down. |
