<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a clutch from being rotated under the influence of agitation oil due to the rotation of a clutch cover at the time when the clutch is disengaged, regardless of the oil temperature in a clutch chamber. CONSTITUTION:A clutch disc 17 in a clutch chamber 16 is spline-fitted in an input shaft 23 through a hub 26, a piston 28 is inserted into a recessed groove 4b of a rear cover 14, and a valve 29 for connecting or disconnecting a hole 14c from the back face of the piston is inserted into a recessed part 28a. A hydraulic mechanism for circulating oil in the clutch chamber drives the piston, and a shape memory coil spring 37 between the piston and the valve decreases the total length of the piston including the valve at the time when the oil temperature is less than a specified value to lock an abutting plate 39 to the piston. A bias spring 41 between the input shaft and the hub separates the disc from a front cover 13 by a specified distance (s), and a shape memory spring 42 of the hub deforms the shape memory spring at the time when the oil temperature is less than the specified value to separate the disc from the front cover more and more.</p> |
