PURPOSE:To always obtain a complete ultrasonic image signal with the constant resolution, even in the case a moving speed and a direction of an ultrasonic vibrator are not constant at the time of executing a scan by a manual operation. CONSTITUTION:The subject device is provided with a frame memory 57 for storing ultrasonic image information of a one-frame portion obtained by processing a receiving signal from an ultrasonic vibrator 10 and a limited area memory 58 which can store receiving data of at least a several acoustic line portion in the prestage of this frame memory 57. In such a state, firstly a receiving signal from the ultrasonic vibrator 10 is written successively in this area limit memory 58 together with a position signal of the ultrasonic vibrator 10 at this time, and subsequently, limited information recorded in this area limit memory 58 is subjected to block transfer to the frame memory 57 at a prescribed timing. |
