<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the life of a thermal head from being shortened even when a diagram containing an outline specifying a plotting area is drawn. CONSTITUTION:A CAD data containing outline and diagram (plotter command) is stored in an input buffer 1 and an internal (intermediate) data obtained at an analyzing section 2 is extracted by only the outline at an outline data extracting section 3. The extracted outline is shifted to the line direction of a thermal head based on a reference point P from a reference point changing section 13 at an outline data shift section 4. The diagram data developed to a bit map data at a bit map development processor 5 is stored in a frame buffer 6. The diagram data is read in sequence by a controller 7 and supplied to a shift register 9 in sequence. A roll paper exchange detector 12 detects that a roll paper is exchanged and the reference point changing section 13 changes the reference point P stored in a memory 11 when the exchange of the roll paper is detected, so as to shift the outline data to the line direction.</p> |
