PURPOSE:To obtain a packing material excellent in transparency, barrier properties, shape retentivity and openability and generating no pressing mark by arranging a plurality of support base materials respectively having specific compositions and laminating a resin layer for a sealant having a specific composition to at least the single surface thereof. CONSTITUTION:A packing material is formed by arranging a first support base material composed of a biaxial oriented plastic film composite layer having barrier properties and a second support base material composed of a stretched polyolefinic resin film and laminating a resin layer for a heat sealant composed of an acid modified polyethylene resin to at least the single surface thereof. The first support base material is formed from a laminated film consisting of a plastic layer composed of a polyvinylidene chloride resin or a polyvinylidene chloride copolymer and a biaxially stretched plastic film. By this constitution, excellent transparency, barrier properties against gas or steam, the shape retentivity to solid matter to be packed, high speed filling properties and openability are ensured and the generation of a pressing mark is eliminated. |
