METHOD FOR FIXING CUSHIONING PAD FOR AUTOMOTIVE DOOR TRIM

PURPOSE:To provide a method for fixing a cushioning pad wherein the pad is fixed simply and firmly without using an adhesive when the cushioning pad is fixed at a specified position on the rear face of an automotive door trim. CONSTITUTION:A plate 21 for bonding which is trimmed in a size being a little larger than the outer periphery of a base and is compatible with a resin core material is fixed in advance on the base of a cushioning pad 20 and the cushioning pad 20 is set on a bottom mold 30 in such a way that the plate 21 for bonding is faced upward. The resin core material is molded by using a top mold 40 and the bottom mold 30 and at the same time, the resin core material and the plate 21 for bonding are integrated in a body to fix simply and firmly the cushioning pad 20 without using an adhesive on the rear face of the resin core material.
