PURPOSE:To provide a recording apparatus equipped with the ink tank directly attached to a recording head to supply ink. CONSTITUTION:The plug 2 of a supply hole is provided to an ink tank 1 having an ink absorbing body 5 provided therein and, at the time of use, the supply pipe 9 of a recording head 8 is inserted in the supply hole to connect the tank 1 to the head 8 and the plug 2 is moved to the retraction space 3 to supply ink to the head 8. |
