PURPOSE:To ensure the easy replacement of an ink tank and a recording head by making the connection of the ink tank and the recording head and that of the recording head and a carriage sure when the ink tank and the recording head are mounted on and fixed to the carriage. CONSTITUTION:A carriage is provided with a flexible sheet 102A-1 equipped with a front panel 101A and the head driving electrode 102 corresponding to the pad 13A-1 on the head PCB 13A of a recording head 10A, an electric connection support plate 100A pressing the rear of the flexible sheet 102A-1, a head positioning part 104A used at the time of the fixing of the recording head 10A and a pressure hook 103A for energizing and supporting a replacing ink tank 1A and the recording head 10A. The pressure hook 103A is constituted so as to generate energizing force in the direction inclined by about 10 deg. with respect to the pressure direction shown by the broken line arrow, that is, the moving direction of the carriage. |
