PURPOSE:To continuously form cavities in fried products in a large amount even if the plural fried products are superposed without arranging the fried products. CONSTITUTION:A piece (P) of fried bean curd is conveyed with a conveying belt 1 and moved to a region where the conveying belt opposes to a regulating belt 2 moving in the same direction as the conveying direction. A rotating drum 12 installed under the conveying belt 1 is rotated in the same direction as the conveying direction of the conveying belt 1 and equipped with plural gas filling needles 16 admitting from the side of the conveying belt 1 into the piece (P) of the fried bean curd by rotation. While the piece (P) of bean curd is located in the region where the conveying belt 1 opposes to the regulating belt 12, a gas is fed to the gas filling needles 16 to form cavities in the piece (P) of the bean curd. Since the conveying belt 1 is bent downward following the formation of the cavities in the piece (P) of the bean curd, the formation of the cavities in the piece (P) of the fried bean curd is not inhibited. |
