A new filing and displaying system is disclosed for pieces of information on or in leaf-like information supports that are themselves holed or secured to holed intermediate pieces and that are threaded on loose threading pins (7) of fitting length. In the most simple embodiment, two opposite closure rails (1) are interconnected by loose threading pins (7) whose number and fastening spacing to the closure rails (1) are variable so as to form a variable, particularly stable collecting frame whose back has a width adaptable to the thickness of the filed objects. The collecting frame may be used in connection with sliding hooks (13) in hanging files. Other embodiments suitable in particular for displaying information in an optimal way are designed as filing folders having a back (10) with a variable width formed by three articulated parts. Some special embodiments are given in the description and claims. A special advantage of the invention is the variable width of the back and the fact that in this filing system the closure elements may be opened on both sides, according to the needs and circumstances, i.e. at the front or back, allowing information to be easily removed or filed at those spots. |
