A method is disclosed for converting regular codes, each formed by a combination of N &cir& _ bits of value 0 and/or 1 into corresponding irregular codes for transmission. The method comprises the following steps: in the case of regular codes (Ri) formed from a combination of 0 and 1 bits, deletion from regular codes of the consecutive bit(s) having the same value and placed at either the head end, or the tail end of all the codes, in order to obtain the corresponding irregular codes (IRi); successive serial transmission of the irregular codes by transmitting an end-of-code signal in association with the transmission of the last bit of each irregular code. |
