PURPOSE:To simplify the structure without a rear wheel differential mechanism in constituting a four-wheel drive type vehicle so as to turn smoothly in a small curve by making the rotation condition free through interruption of transmission to rear wheels inside turning operation upon turning. CONSTITUTION:Power for front wheels 1 from a drive speed changing device 13 is transmitted to right and left front wheels 1 through a front wheel differential mechanism 27, and power for rear wheels 2 from the device 13 is divided right and left and transmitted to right and left rear wheels 2 respectively through right and left paired side clutches 15, 16. When the front wheels 1 is steered at a specified angle or more, in linkage with the operation, the turning outside one of the paired side clutches 15, 16 is maintained in transmission state and the turning inside one is interrupted in its transmission by an operation means. |
