PURPOSE:To dispense with oscillation of a rod, downsize a booster mechanism, and enhance steering performance by slidingly-engaging a link engaging pin which is protruded on a base part with a slot formed in the end of a link supported to the base part so as to rotate a rod and move it in an axial direction. CONSTITUTION:A slot 27 formed on the upper end side of a link 25 is slidingly- engaged with a link engaging pin 23 protruded on a bracket 21 which is a base part. A link pivoted member 31 is joined with the lower end of the link 25 through a pivoted pin 25, and the link pivoted member 31 is engaged with the flange part 9 of the rod 5. When an operator pulls a knob 2, the engagement of a ratchet 33 with the lock teeth 7 of the rod 5 is released, and by the engagement of the lock 5 with a flange part 9, the link pivoted member 31 is pulled, and the link 25 oscillates around the link engaging pin 23 through the slot 27. As a result, right and left cables 51, 51 are pulled to make a parking brake state. |
