The system information display apparatus for a telephone exchange continuously receives the information related to the system and displays the whole information of the system. A main system connects with a serial input/output interface (40) through a main system bus (101). A power supply is provided for a power logic section (50) through an external power input terminal (102) and a system power input terminal (103). A control section (20) continuously receives the whole information related to the main system through the serial input/output interface. Them serial input/output interface checks the control section in the normal state. The information display driving section drives 7 segment display section (80) and provides the tone driving signal to a voice output section (110).
