The invention relates to a limiter of transmission torque between a driving element rotating around a spindle, and a driven element, including coupling pieces linked to the two elements respectively. According to the invention, one of the coupling pieces (1) is a block having a cavity (11) extending around the spindle and the other (3) exhibits at least one part in the form of a shaft housed in this cavity and exhibiting dimensions which enable it to rotate therein; the shaft (3) has a polygonal outline; the block (1) includes at least one channel (12) emerging into the cavity (11), and in which is housed a finger (4) which can move between two positions, in which, respectively, its free end bears against the shaft (3) nearest the spindle, and this free end, further from the spindle, allows revolutions of the shaft (3), the said finger (4) being returned towards the shaft (3) by an elastic means (5). <IMAGE>
