摘要 PURPOSE:Solid starting material containing effective ingredients and water for leaching out are put into a pouch, the air in the space of the pouch is removed, the pouch is tightly sealed and heated, whereby beverage in pouch is produced with complete retention of all the ingredients leached out of the solid starting material. CONSTITUTION:Roasted coffee beans 4 and water for leaching out 5 are put into pouch 2 made of, e.g., polyethylene with heat and pressure resistance and flexibility, from the upper opening 3, so that 10-20% of space 6 is left in the pouch 2. Then, the pouch is deaerated from the space 6, sealed tightly by closing the opening 3. The tightly sealed pouch 2 is subjected to specified heat treatment to leach out the effective ingredients of taste and aroma from the coffee beans into the water. The temperature at the leaching is 80-125 deg.C, preferably 110-120 deg.C. The weight ratio of the coffee beans to the water is 1/5-1/50, preferably 1/6-1/25. The pouch used is required to withstand a temperature of 125 deg.C and inner pressure of 2kg/cm<2> at 90vol% packing.
