PURPOSE:To prevent a malfunction caused by an input signal inputted for turning on a power source of a display device by constituting the controller so that when a keyboard input is not executed for a prescribed time, the power source of the display device is disconnected, and when the keyboard input is executed, the power source of the display device is turned on, but a first input signal is not transmitted to a main body. CONSTITUTION:The controller is provided with a signal detecting circuit 21 for detecting an input signal from an input device 1, a gate circuit 22 for determining whether the input signal detected by the signal detecting circuit 21 is transmitted to a computer main body 3 or not, and a timer circuit 23 for disconnecting a power source 41 of a display device, when the signal detecting circuit 21 does not detect the input signal for a prescribed time or above. When the power source 41 of the display device 4 is disconnected, the signal detecting circuit 21 turns on the power source of the display device 4, based on the input signal, and the gate circuit 22 transmits a second input signal and succeeding one detected by the signal detecting circuit 21 to the computer main body 3. In such a way, since a first input signal is not transmitted to the computer main body 3, the computer main body 3 does not cause a malfunction. |
