摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain comfortable feeling in car driving, by forming a suspension with one end of a leaf spring fixed on the cab side and its end hole supported on the tilt center and one end of the link arm rotatably supported on the tilt center connected to a shaft on the cab side. CONSTITUTION:When an input force from above or beneath is applied to the cab, the front end portion of the cab 2 moves down or up around its axis, namely the tilt center 0. These movements are absorbed by the leaf spring 3, but if the movements exceed a certain stroke, the stopper rubber 5 or 6 hits the stopper receiver 41 to change the spring constant of the leaf spring 3. Namely the front cab suspension can have nonlinear spring characteristics by a certain combination of the leaf spring 3 and stopper rubbers 5 and 6. Comfortable feeling in car driving can be obtained in this arrangement in which a cantilever leaf spring is used with its end hole supported at the tilt center and its other end supporting the cab to get good torsion stabilizer effect.
