<p>PURPOSE:To install existing terminal adaptors and broad band line adaptors decentralizingly by dividing adaptors into the broad band line adaptors and the plural existing terminal adaptors and interconnecting them with one or plural kinds of prescribed interface signals. CONSTITUTION:Existing terminal termination sections 231-23n of existing terminal adaptors 201-20n apply termination processing to existing terminal interface (IF) signals R1-Rn, its output information is converted into an ATM cell by a cell composition section of ATM cell composition decomposition sections 221-22n and the converted cell is outputted to next stage specific IF signal termination sections 211-21n. The termination sections 211-21n receive the ATM cell and convert it into predetermined IF signals a1-an, and they are sent to a broad band line adaptor 10. Specific IF signal termination sections 141-14n of the adaptor 10 receive the predetermined IF signals a1-an, and apply termination processing to them and convert the signals into ATM cells, they are multiplexed into one ATM cell by a multiplexer section of a demultiplexer section 15, a broad band line termination section 11 converts the cell into an IF signal UNI and it is sent to a network.</p> |
