PURPOSE:To improve fixability and color mixability by using a cross-linked polyester resin having a narrow mol.wt. distribution as the binder resin. CONSTITUTION:A polyester resin formed from a monomer composition contg. 25-30mol%, based on the total monomer, of a bivalent aromatic acid component (a) selected from isophthalic acid, terephthalic acid, etc., 2-4mol% of a trivalent aromatic acid component (b) selected from trimellitic acid, etc., 12-18mol% of a bivalent acid component (c) selected from dodecenyl-succinic acid, octylsuccinic acid, etc., and 45-60mol% of propoxy and/or ethoxy etherificated diphenyl components (d) is incorporated into the binder as the essential components. In this case, the hydroxyl value of the polyester resin is controlled to 10-20, the weight average mol.wt. to 13,000 to 20,000, the number average mol.wt. to 5,000 to 8,000 and the weight average mol.wt. (Mw)-to-number average mol.wt. ratio 2 to 3.5. Accordingly, the fixability and offset resistance are enhanced. |
