<p>PURPOSE:To suppress useless light emission and to improve lives of a battery and an LED by turning on/off the LED for detecting start/finish ends of a tape in accordance with the inserted state of a cassette. CONSTITUTION:The signal deciding whether the cassette is inserted or not is sent by a means 10 discriminating the existence of cassette insertion to an LED mission deciding means 11 for detecting the start/finish ends of magnetic tape for the purpose of detecting the start/finish ends of magnetic tape wound on a storing reel, while making the signal from a cassette insertion detector 9 as the input. By the deciding means 11, in the case the cassette is not being inserted, a control signal to turn off the emission at LED 13 outputted to a driving device 12 for detecting the start/finish ends of magnetic tape based on the deciding signal. When the cassette is inserted, a control signal to turn on the emission of LED 13 is outputted to the driving device 12.</p> |
