The switching device without clutch mechanism, has a magnet for converting washing/dehydration modes. The device comprises washing/dehydration tank (22) in outer tank (21) mounted in the case (20); washing/dehydration shaft (23) fixed at the tank (22); power transmitting device (30) having third/forth gears (34)(35) driven by a motor (31) and connected with first/second gears (24)(25); lifting means (40) for lifting a movable shaft (37) selectively connected with the shafts (33)(36) of the gears (34)(35).
