The data bank has first and second scanning units for two recording media (TM1,TM2) i.e. a video recording medium (TM1) and an additional data recording medium (TM2) to be installed and driven in the data bank. There are two servo-drivers (80,81) for the two recording media. Correspondingly selected information by a user can be recorded to a correct position on the data recording medium. The recording is carried out by the data scanners and servomotors. From the medium they can be found and recalled from display on a data screen. The data bank has two scanners including two video heads (21,22), two data heads (23,24) and two control switches (SW1,SW2), associated with a magnetic head drum (20). They are both active for recording and read-out of the respective information signals.
