摘要

PURPOSE:To improve recording and reproducing characteristics by having a coating film having the required roughness in a specific range on one surface of a polyester film and a recording layer on the other surface. CONSTITUTION:The optical tape is formed of the biaxially stretched and laminated polyester film having the coating layer having the center line average height (Ra) of the surface ranging from 0.005 to 0.3mum on one surface of the polyester film and the recording layer, etc., on the other surface. The optical tape enhanced in the recording and reproducing characteristics is then obtd.
