PURPOSE:To eliminate a processing time by providing a conversion condition setting part and a conversion condition discrimination part, and converting document data into converted data and storing them in a document storage life when the document data are adapted to previously set document conditions. CONSTITUTION:The document conditions to be converted are inputted through a condition input device 3 and the conversion condition part 13 of the document conversion and storage device 1 is informed of them. Then a conversion condition part 13 stores the document conditions. Then a document preparing device 2 prepares a document and transfers it to the document conversion and storage device 1. In this case, when a conversion condition discrimination part 12 discriminates that the document conditions stored in the conversion condition part 13 are adapted, a conversion request is sent to a document conversion part 11. When the document conditions are not adapted, on the other hand, the condition discrimination part 12 does not send the conversion execution request. Consequently, the processing time required for a data conversion part when a user stores the document in a host computer is eliminated to shorten the waiting time of the user. |
