PURPOSE:To output a converted word required by a user always with the highest priority by using cooccurrence information in KANA (Japanese syllabary)/KANJI (Chinese character) conversion using cooccurrence information. CONSTITUTION:This document preparing device is provided with a KANA/ KANJI conversion processing part 14, a cooccurrence learning processing part 16 and a short period learning processing part 18. After forming conversion word candidates corresponding to input reading information by the processing part 14, the output order of the candidates is determined by the processing part 16, a conversion word candidate learned for a short time is retrieved by the processing part 18, and when the conversion word candidate concerned is present, the conversion word candidate is outputted as a conversion result with priority. When there is no conversion word candidate concerned, all the conversion word candidates are outputted in accordance with the output order. |
