A battery operated terminal apparatus has a housing for a battery which has a locking recess on one side. The battery is inserted through an aperture and a latching lever arranged on an inside wall of the housing, is arranged to engage in the battery recess as the battery is pushed into the housing. In order to release the battery it is necessary to push it further into the housing at the same time as the latching lever is manually moved to the released position. |
