Apparatus for measuring heart rate, comprising at least one pair of measurement electrodes (12, 14) for detecting a cardiac signal, a means (34, 36) for processing the electrical signals picked up by the electrodes, and electrical conductors (26, 28) for electrically connecting the electrodes to the processing means, in which the electrodes and the processing means are mounted on a thin and flexible support (20, 22), the whole being coated in a flexible material (29) moulded over to form a band.
