PURPOSE:To improve operability and to reduce the generation of misrecognition by providing this information processor with a code conversion means for substituting an alphanumeric code for a Japanese code inputted after inputting a numeral. CONSTITUTION:The information processor capable of displaying characters and codes inputted from an input part 4 on the screen of a document display part 1 is provided with the code conversion means for substituting an alphanumeric code such as ',' and '.' for Japanese codes inputted after inputting a numeral. Thereby all Japanese codes after inputting a numeral can be converted into alphanumeric codes. After inputting a numeral to the information processor using a keyboard arranging a Japanese code and an alphanumeric code on a common key as the input part 4, it is unnecessary to switch a Japanese input mode to an alphanumeric mode in the case of inputting an alphanumeric code during the execution of the Japanese input mode. Consequently the operability can be improved and the generation of misrecognition is reduced. |
