PURPOSE:To improve spectrographing accuracy by a device for mass spectrographing a daughter ion generated by cleavage of a parent ion mass spectrographed. CONSTITUTION:In a mass spectrograph of type where a cleavage chamber 3 is provided between a mass spectrograph part l in the preceding stage and a multi-pole type mass spectrograph part 2 in the rear stage to arrange a multipole type ion lens 4 in this cleavage chamber, AC voltage is overlapped on DC voltage or high frequency voltage applied to the above-mentioned ion lens. Accordingly, mass dependency of permeation factor of the multipole type ion lens is completely eliminated by the above-mentioned overlapped AC voltage to improve quantitative/qualitative accuracy of spectrograph. |
