The transfer or insemination sheath (2) is arranged in a flexible and sterilisable case (1) closed in a leaktight manner at its two ends using a weld or an adhesive bond (3) and comprising two compartments, a short compartment (5) and a long compartment (6) ended by a means (4) for solidly attaching the sheath (2) to the case (1), it being possible for the means (4) to consist of a clamping collar or of a weld or an adhesive bond made jointly on the case (1) and the sheath (2). <IMAGE>
