发明名称 ABSORPTIONMETER
摘要 PURPOSE:To accurately and uniformly maintain the temperature of reagents by blowing air upon the upper surface of a micro-plate through a perforated plate with numerous holes and, at the same time, circulating the air along a metallic plate having excellent thermal conductivity. CONSTITUTION:By actuating a fan 16 and heater 17, hot air is made to circulate in a chamber 9. Reagents 14 are respectively put in the wells 11 of a micro-plate 1 and a perforated aluminum plate 2 having excellent thermal conductivity is put on a carrier 5 while the plate 2 is positioned so that the plate 2 can come into contact with the bottom surfaces of the wells 11. While each reagent 14 is passed between a light source 3 and a photodetector 4 by making the carrier 5 to repeatedly make reciprocating motions by means of a driving device, the absorbancy of the reagents and their hourly changes are measured. Part of warm air circulated during the measurement is gently blown upon the upper surface of the micro-plate 1 through each hole of a perforated synthetic resin plate 7 and the other part reaches the lower surface of the micro-plate 1 along the wall surface of the chamber 9 and flows along the rear surface of the aluminum plate 2. Therefore, the entire upper and lower surfaces of the micro-plate l are uniformly humidified by the gently blown warm air and the aluminum plate 2, respectively.
