PURPOSE:To provide a bonder wherein a work is protected against damage by slowly damping the vibration after abutting of a press tool on the work thereby suppressing excessive pressure or vibration to be applied on the work. CONSTITUTION:The inventive bonder comprises a horn 1 for holding a press tool 2 at the tip thereof, a linear motor for rotary rocking the horn 1 vertically around a rotary shaft 6, and a damping element 20 for imparting a resistance, proportional to the moving speed, to the horn 1. |
