PURPOSE: To improve the sensitivity of a radio receiver by reducing noise produced by a microprocessor used in a radio reception circuit. CONSTITUTION: A software program composed of a module of program codes is classified into routines of first and second categories. The routine of the first category relates to device functions which are apt to be affected by produced noise and stored in internal memories 301, 302, and 303 during operations. The routine of the second category is stored in external memories 201 and 202 against the microprocessors 300 and relates to device functions which are hardly affected by the noise. The routines of the first and second categories are respectively executed in the single chip mode and expansion mode of the microprocessors 300. When the microprocessors 300 are operated in the single chip mode, a ROM 201 and a RAM 202 are not operated. |
